The Big Job

The big job is a real progress bar. I have been working on this piece over several years and several iterations.
The bar is moved by a stepper motor which is connected to the computer. The computer screen displays a message which changes as the bar gets closer to completion. As you can see, Ico is very interested in kinetic sculpture.
The name comes from programming. Large time consuming tasks are typically bundled into loading sections, and these sections are called the "Big Job".
